Facilities

Machzikei Hadas is located in a pleasant residential area of southeastern Ottawa. Our building borders on a large field on one side and on residential homes on the other. We are proud to offer a wide range of facilities and professional services:

• Spacious sanctuary, with a 475-person seating capacity Social halls available for hosting special events and simcha occasions:
• Our main social hall provides space for both a seated dinner as well as a dance floor, with space for approximately 350 people. For cocktail events, the main hall can accommodate up to 500 guests.
• Our lower social hall, which can host up to around 250 guests, is ideal for smaller, more intimate gatherings and events. 
• Our open concept foyer can seat up to 150 people
• Two large full-service, strictly kosher, separate meat and dairy kitchens available for any event. Our kitchens are supervised by our own mashgiach.
• Shul office open daily with trained staff to provide information and referrals
• Daily Shaharit, Minhah, and Ma'ariv services; minyan always available for Kaddish or Yahrzeit
• Services for all Jewish festivals, fasts, holy days, and Yizkors
• Bar/Bat Mitzvah celebrations
• Fully accessible Shabbat Elevator
• Full array of gifts, books and ritual items available through the Gift Shop
